When we can trust ourselves in this way, our confidence rockets!
Hi everyone, it's me Kirsteen with some Monday Motivation.
One of the most important elements of having confidence and feeling confident is trusting yourself to recover after any setback, our relationship with backs, failures, whatever you want to call them, quite often can mean that we don't even take the step forward.
And that's the thing that needs to change. That's the thing that gives you power and confidence when you're stepping into unknown territory, that core trust in yourself that you won't be able to course correct. Get yourself back on track. Engage, lean on resources that you're going to need that's going to make a difference to your success. All those things are really important and are part of the trust that you can build so that you know if things don't go to plan, you will be able to get back on track or repair something that needs to be repaired.
Engage lean on resources
So have a think about when you might have done this already in your life or in your career because chances are you have and you may not even realise it or be conscious of what you did. But this is definitely something that you can repeat. And many of us think that confidence is built on successes but actually confidence is built on successes and equally importantly what we do when things don't go to plan, how we learn and move forward when things have gone wrong. And the trust that we have in ourselves to put things right.
what we do when things don't go to plan
So I'd love you just to take a few minutes and maybe even Journal of where things gone wrong in your life and you have been able to get yourself back on track. Because knowing that and remembering that is key to building your confidence, especially when you're going to be taking a step towards something that feels uncomfortable.
So I'd love to know what you think have a brilliant week and I'll talk to you all soon.
Take care till next Monday
Kirsteen
